Kent Sparks grew up in Oklahoma, graduating from Northeastern State University with a degree in Business Administration as well as minors in Marketing and Management. After graduation, he started a construction company specializing in insurance restoration and disaster recovery, which he owned until selling it in 2006.
The Sparks family relocated to the DFW Metroplex in 1997 so he could attend Dallas Theological Seminary where he received his Master’s degree in 2000.
In addition to his role at Morrison Financial, Kent serves as the Lead Pastor of Ministry at Cross Timbers Community Church.
He also serves as a Board Member for Responsive Education Solutions, a state charter school system, with over 70 campuses in multiple states with over 18,000 students.
Kent married his high school sweetheart, Lori, and they have five children: Alex, Lauren, Nicolas, Benjamin and Lilly…along with a Lab, a Jack Russell, two Yorkies and a snake!
